Where to fuel up before or after your ride in Fenway, Southie, and Harvard Square
CASSIE SHORTSLEEVE
If 45 minutes in the saddle has a way of revving up your appetite, we have the answer: great eats, right around the corner. Fortunately, here at HB, we’re lucky to be surrounded by tons of top restaurants in Southie, Fenway, and Harvard Square, but these 13 are some of our faves — plus, they’re all within walking distance of the studios.
FENWAY
PAVEMENT COFFEEHOUSE
You don’t have to go far if cardio leaves you craving carbs: Our Fenway neighbors serve up some of the best bagels and cream cheese around. Plus, coffee. All the coffee.

TIGER MAMA
Tiffani Faison’s latest and greatest is Southeast Asian eats (pad thai, pig rice) and a cool, swanky vibe. (But not swanky enough that they’ll turn you away in leggings.)

SWEETGREEN
After its much-anticipated arrival on Brookline Ave, the cult favorite for salads is now a go-to for lunch, dinner, and everything in between. We’d like to say Harvest Bowls go well with tap backs.
SWEET CHEEKS
Sweet Cheeks is Faison’s killer BBQ joint just across the street from our Fenway studio. What better way to end an evening than buttery biscuits; the game on the big screens; and, in warmer weather, sunset from the patio?
SOUTHIE
WORDEN HALL
Whiskey and water go well together. But the food at Worden Hall (deep dish pies, roasted Brussels sprouts, and gluten-free smoked lamb ribs) is just as good as the sips.
LOCO TAQUERIA & OYSTER BAR
Girls’ nights that start in the saddle should end at Loco, right down the road from our Southie studio. Expect Mexican and oysters, margaritas done right, and a lively vibe.
BOSTON BAGEL COMPANY
Boston Bagel Company makes all of its schmears in-house, has 15 different kinds of bagels, and pours cookie dough-flavored coffee. Grab breakfast to-go or a bag of bagels for the office.

JUICE BOX
On those days when clean eating is a must, Juice Box on West Broadway has the solution(s): juices, smoothies, bowls, and — if you really need a kick into shape — cleanses.
HARVARD SQUARE
VO2 CAFE
For pre- or post-class eats, a cozy little vegan café right across the street from our Harvard digs serves up smoothies, avocado toast, veggie burgers, and more.

GRAFTON STREET
After class in HSQ, you don’t have to go far for a solid brunch. Grafton Street has it all: eggs dishes, cocktails, and a prime location for people watching. They also do dinner (and have tons of great local beer options).

ZOE’S
If classic diners are your thing, Zoe’s is your spot. They serve breakfast all day, every day and are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (just incase, you know, the craving for pancakes hits you after your night class).
LIFE ALIVE URBAN OASIS AND ORGANIC CAFE
The health-conscious (and those of us seeking a little bit of zen) will love the quirky Life Alive. They accommodate all different kinds of dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free) with organic salads, smoothies, wraps, and hot foods.
